What are your goals for 2026? Be inspired by the CF team’s beauty and wellness resolutions…
While we don’t believe in putting undue pressure on yourself when it comes to New Year’s resolutions, as a team, we’ve been discussing some positive, exciting things we want to achieve in terms of beauty and wellness goals this coming year. That includes simple changes to shake us out of a beauty rut (so we actually use that rather dusty LED face mask we paid for!) plus and simple – and free – ways to lighten our mental loads throughout the whole year, because 2026 is about doing more with less, we say.
These are the CF team’s beauty and wellness resolutions for 2026 and beyond.

“There is one intention that has jumped out, above all others, for 2026. It’s not rooted in productivity or performance, but in the art of presence. More than ever before, I want to stay focused in the moments that matter most, especially when I’m with my children. As women, and often as mothers, our minds are often in motion, thinking of hundreds of different things – planning meals, organising schedules, to-do lists, fielding emails, remembering obligations. When I sit with a puzzle spread out at the table, or I curl up on the couch with colouring pages or a storybook, my breath becomes calm and my mind quieter. I’m not frantic, not hurried, there is no phone in sight, I’m fully present. It’s calm and, honestly, deeply satisfying.
I used to think wellness was about adding things: meditating, exercising, journaling (as I’ve seen in my notes each year). But I’m realising that wellness is also about removing noise – turning down the internal chatter that pulls me away from the present, and turning up the quiet that allows me to be with what’s right in front of me. So my number one wellness resolution for 2026 is to find focus in everything I do, to be with my kids, to enjoy the conversations, and hear what they want to say – not halfway in thought – but fully there.”

“2025 has been the year of the nail extension for me, and I fell in love with having long, often dramatic red nails that made me feel totally put-together for work and social events. However, my pre-Christmas mani-pedi also came with a wake-up call. My brilliant nail artist was horrified at how thin and flaking my nails had become after a rather disastrous attempt to take my extensions off at home, so it’s bye-bye to my extensions for (at least the majority of) 2026. Instead, I’m sending my nails to rehab and committing to 12 months of really looking after my hands.
That starts with simply keeping my nails short, manicured, and out of the nail bar for a while, but to make it less of a chore (and so I don’t miss the self-care ritual of getting my nails done so much), I want to turn my newly acquired nailcare routine into a pampering ritual. I’ve treated myself not only to plenty of nail strengthener – I’m swearing by Manucurist’s Keratin Booster – but also some cuticle oil and hand cream to keep my hands soft and smooth. I’ll be aiming to keep these handy helpers in my work bag and to give myself a hand massage with them as frequently as possible, especially when stress levels are mounting up. I actually hold a lot of tension in my hands (and you might be surprised to find out that you do too, if you gently massage your knuckles after reading this), so I hope to kill two birds with one pampering stone throughout 2026.”

“I’ve just moved to London from Athens, Greece, where my entire wellness routine was based around being outdoors – mainly walks along the Athenian Riviera or in the city’s parks. Back in London, the winter weather isn’t entirely enticing me outside in the mornings, so I’m keen to start some of my favourite indoor activities again. This includes reformer Pilates, which I first started in 2014, but it has dropped off my rotation in recent years. It happens to be one of the only forms of working out that I actually truly love, which should make getting out of my cosy bed in the mornings a little easier. I’d also love to follow this with 20-or-so minutes of pre-work sofa time, flicking through the pages of a book with a hot coffee by my side – but to be very honest, this is probably the harder part to commit to. Watch this space.”
– If you want to try reformer Pilates at home, you can invest in a Flexera Folding reformer, too, which has our wellness director very intrigued.

“My beauty resolution is to pay more attention to my skin from the neck down. I’m a sucker for skincare and religiously apply SPF to my face, but unfortunately, anywhere beyond that gets very overlooked. I really want to commit to using my LED red light therapy mask more, as I’ve seen people getting really great results for smoother, clearer skin – but my main aim for 2026 is to take more care of the skin on my body, including incorporating dry body-brushing into my shower routine and actually applying moisturiser, dry oil, or some sort of serum to my body, even if that step becomes the last one before bed. I’m eyeing up Mirror Water’s Buff Body Dry Brush to make the process feel more luxurious. Hopefully, my perpetually dry legs will thank me for it!”

“The Italians have a saying, ‘il dolce far niente’, which means the sweetness of doing nothing – enjoying life’s small pleasures and not jumping onto the next thing constantly. For me, that means putting my phone away and doing more reading before bed, stretching in the mornings and sipping rather than downing coffees. I am spectacularly bad at this, so I’m making it my goal to try harder at it for 2026. None of us know how long we’re here for or what’s round the corner, so savouring everyday joys seems like a wise way to live.”

“I guess this may count as two small things, however, I am going to really try to stick to both. First of all, I need to stop drinking coffee on an empty stomach every morning. I take prebiotics and probiotics to help boost my gut health, but then irritate my stomach lining with lots of black coffee every morning. A friend pointed the irony out to me after I complained about having a sensitive stomach. Breakfast first is the resolution, even if it’s something small like a banana.
Secondly, while there is no cure, I am also on a mission to sooth my scalp psoriasis, which gets pretty bad during the winter months. I am working my way through the best creams and shampoos with the aim of finding something that reduces symptoms without absolutely ruining the texture of my hair, which is prone to dryness anyway – tricky! So far, I have liked Neutrogena’s T/Gel shampoo with salicylic acid, and have Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Dermatology M Scalp psoriasis shampoo lined up to sample next.”

“One small but non-negotiable change for me in 2026 is treating sleep as a core part of my beauty routine. I don’t get much good-quality sleep, but I find when I do sleep well, everything else falls into place; my skin looks better, my mood is steadier, and I feel more like myself. I want to (try to) commit to putting my phone on charge outside my bedroom and giving myself a proper wind-down window at night, even if it’s just 30 minutes.
I’ve also realised that I’ve fallen into the habit of over-consuming beauty, whether that be buying into new launches or ‘must-haves’ that promise a lot but often just add noise. This year, I want to strip things back and focus on a smaller, more intentional collection of products that actually work and that make me feel put-together without needing to do the most. Overall, I want my approach to beauty and wellness to feel calmer and more considered, with a routine that supports my energy, rather than draining it.”

“Lately, my approach to wellness has become less about perfection and more about intention — small, grounding rituals that carry me through the constant juggle of kids, work, and life. I know I need to commit properly to my supplements, as they’re often the first thing I miss when days get busy, despite how much better I feel when I take them consistently. One non-negotiable is creatine from Ancient + Brave, which I’ve found genuinely helps lift the brain fog that can settle in under the weight of mental load. Wellness, for me, is also deeply connected to my daily prayers — a quiet pause I intend to truly commit to, bringing calm, perspective, and a sense of alignment before the day unfolds. Movement remains essential: 10,000 steps a day, however they’re gathered, because walking offers both clarity and calm. I’m also consciously cutting back on sugar, choosing steadier energy over quick fixes — a considered, sustainable approach to wellbeing that feels both refined and realistic.”
