This Week CF Loves: 23.02.26

If you’re wondering what to do this week with an eye for style and adventure, start by daydreaming about a sun-soaked escape to Cape Town to experience perhaps South Africa’s most stylish new suite.

Back at home (or wherever your calendar lands you), slip into the season’s it-girl sunglasses, and pair them with a fresh trainer essential. Cap off your week with an omakase-style meal that elevates dining into performance art. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

EAT HERE Sushi Amamoto, Mayfair

Mayfair (and London’s) hottest new dining spot just launched, and it’s at the counter of Michelin-star chef Shogo Amamoto’s new omakase restaurant. Sushi Amamoto opened in London last week, bringing the talent of Taipei to discerning London diners. With it he brings a chance to actually get a reservation (his Michelin-starred Taipei restaurant became so popular that it regularly saw year-long waitlists and eventually changed to a members’-only format). Serving a tongue-tingling creative menu available during lunch and dinner servings, chef Amamoto and his team showcase skill and precision across plates of nigiri and otsumami, alongside a healthy dose of playfulness and unexpected tastes – like in the grilled mochi topped with N25 caviar (a dish chef Amamoto tells us was his “wife’s suggestion” and that it should be eaten in “two bites”) and the foie gras ice-cream sandwich served part-way through the courses. London diners might feel a sense of familiarity to the place, too, it’s taken over what was previously Taku Mayfair; the team and decor remains as it was. Katie Silcox.

USE THIS Heights

Ever scroll past another slick social media ad and catch yourself overthinking your entire supplement regime, wondering what actually works versus what’s just noise? You’re not alone. In a world where we’re constantly bombarded with claims and promises, choosing a supplement that genuinely supports your all-round health is deeply satisfying. That’s where well-crafted formulas come in, full of the necessary vitamins and minerals that help nourish your bones, boost immunity, and keep your energy steady, not just one isolated benefit. Heights supplements have carved out a space as thoughtful allies in your daily health ritual. Beyond the promise of supporting natural growth, these formulas deliver essential nutrients like calcium, vitamin D, zinc and key amino acids. Add their Thrive⁺ range which includes ingredients like NAD⁺ precursors and CoQ10 to fuel cellular energy, resilience and long-term vitality, so you can feel supported today and ready for tomorrow.

PUT THESE ON Matteau Sunglasses

After years of careful design and refinement, the sisters behind Matteau have expanded their minimalist universe into eyewear with a debut collection that embodies the same timeless ethos they’ve applied to their apparel, simplicity, purpose and lasting appeal. Handmade in Italy, the range comprises three distinct silhouettes designed to be treasured for seasons to come. The Voyager offers a modern take on a classic squared frame with softened edges and durable 5-barrel hinges, paired with UV-protective CR-39 green and brown lenses that make it perfect for long summer days. The Mirage brings a petite, vintage-inspired cat-eye charm in both Dark Tortoiseshell and Black acetate, its refined lines and comfortable fit making it an elegant go-to for everyday wear. Rounding out the lineup is the Eclipse, a bold, oversized round shape with softened contours and protective lenses that bridge heritage and contemporary cool. The collection reflects Matteau’s belief that great accessories should be simple, purposeful and enduring companions in every wardrobe.

WEAR THESE ALO Sunset Sneaker

From studio to street and Sunday brunch to city explorations, the ALO Sunset Sneaker has swiftly become the season’s must-have sneaker for the style-minded set. Inspired by the effortless cool of Sunset Boulevard, this low-profile silhouette pairs a plush suede upper with a cloud-soft recovery foam insole and padded collar to deliver comfort that genuinely lasts all day, whether you’re heading to a pilates class, walking through the city, or slipping into casual tailoring for a chic off-duty look. Worn by models like Stella Maxwell and already embraced as the “chill-girl shoe of the year”, its sleek, minimalist design in versatile black and sand makes it easy to dress up or down, completing everything from athleisure to dresses with ease. Part of ALO’s expanding lifestyle footwear lineup, the Sunset Sneaker feels like a luxury wardrobe staple that elevates everyday outfits without sacrificing wearability.
