From chic fitness studios to self-development workshops, London’s co-working spaces offer far more than a desk with a kitchen and coffee machine.
The city’s new generation of high-end co-working spaces are both stylish and functional, kitted out with boutique gyms and eclectic events programmes. Sumptuous interiors and design-forward amenities are just the start, with workers seeking a one-stop shop for their work and wellness needs.
With that in mind, we’ve rounded up the most stylish co-working spaces in London that go above and beyond in design, aesthetic and other perks.
If you’re looking for a co-working space that’s uber-stylish and centrally located, then you might want to consider Maslow’s. Kitted out with chic boutique gyms and wellness programmes, these thoughtfully designed private members’ clubs put nutrition and wellbeing first.
1 Warwick in Soho sits above Nessa, where you can enjoy long lunches and laidback business meetings. Plenty of workspace upstairs means that you can move around, from the first-floor library to the communal spaces and a dedicated hot-desking area with ergonomic chairs. Books and plants decorate the interior, placed next to comfy leather reading chairs and weighty oak desks.
Six floors up, Yasmin rooftop has a wraparound balcony with a stellar cocktail menu inspired by the flavours of Istanbul. Opening in May 2026, the collection’s new South Kensington 30,000 sq ft members’ club is even more design- and wellness-focused, benefiting from a nutrition-led cafe and a boutique gym.
The Hoxton has always welcomed freelance creatives and self-employed collaborators to work in their stylish lobbies. In 2020, the Southwark branch extended their services to include a contemporary workspace for business-owners looking for less traditional, long-term leases. Bathed in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, the office’s design sticks to the brand’s industrial but homey aesthetic. The work spaces include a cafe and bar offering healthy “brain food” created by nutritionist Sarah Ann Macklin. After work, venture upstairs for platters of oysters and a medley of seafood dishes at Seabird, the hotel’s airy, coastal-inspired rooftop restaurant.
From its Grade II listed exterior outside, Old Sessions House gives off an upscale, high-end feel. Inside, you’ll find a sophisticated workspace, where swishly dressed lawyers rub shoulders with creative business owners. The pastel-coloured walls have that scratchy, distressed look that juxtapose the grand chandeliers, giving the the building an extra touch of character. There’s yoga and daily massages, lunchtime panels, a chic on-site café, a lively cultural programme and plenty of calm, leafy, sunny spots to work in surrounded by art.
Located in between Borough and London Bridge, The Ministry is for freelance folk or small businesses looking for a stylish space with a fun-packed programme. There’s an event on most days of the weekend, with mid-afternoon meditation sessions and gym classes provided on-site throughout the day. The terrace is The Ministry’s pièce de resistance, a quiet sanctuary and suntrap tucked away from the hubbub of the outside world. Pick up a pistachio pastry and a coffee from the on-site cafe and retreat to the terrace, where faux birdsong plays from hidden speakers. Fixed desks are located upstairs, with separate studios, phone booths and meeting rooms dotted around the building.
Spread across London’s most sought-after postcodes, from White City to the Strand, Soho Works offers all the perks of a Soho House membership – including a diverse cultural programme of panels and gigs – with dedicated workspace. The spaces are decked out with the group’s signature aesthetic, with rich patterns and plenty of natural light. Comfy sofas and books are dotted around the communal areas to encourage light breaks, as well as a boutique gym for keeping active.
If you find yourself in a work-from-home rut, the National Theatre’s riverside location in Waterloo offers a much-needed brain refresh. The location alone is enough to make you feel productive, with plenty of desk spaces and comfy seats scattered around the multi-storey space. For healthy brain breaks, head out for walks along the river, and after work, see a show, or check out the venue’s programme of showings. The BFI and Southbank are moments away, offering a post-work culture fix.
