This Week CF Loves: 11.05.26

These are the five things we are utterly obsessed with this week.

A Venetian dream of a hotel that’s rewriting the rules of la dolce vita. The skincare must-have your complexion has been waiting for. A charity initiative so moving it stopped us in our tracks. A restaurant with a real purpose – great food, greater impact. And a cheesecake that, quite frankly, deserves its own postcode. Read on, you’ll want to bookmark this week’s hotlist.

BID HERE War Child's Spring Clean 2026

Every spring, War Child does something rather brilliant: they persuade the biggest names in music, film, fashion and art to clear out their wardrobes, studios and archives, and auction the lot for children living through conflict. This year’s haul is extraordinary. Highlights include tickets to see Harry Styles at Wembley, a Devil Wears Prada script donated by Stanley Tucci and signed by the main cast, a signed Coldplay poster, and a rare John Lennon 12″ zoetrope vinyl. Part auction, part prize draw, it’s open to all budgets and every bid goes directly towards protecting, educating and supporting children in conflict zones including Sudan, Gaza, Ukraine and Syria. The auction runs until 9pm BST on 27th May, and with one in five children worldwide currently affected by war, the cause has never felt more urgent.

BOOK THIS BUCKETLIST STAY Airelles Palladio, Venice

The French hotel collection beloved for its only address on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles has just made its first move outside France, and it’s a spectacular one. Airelles Palladio opens on Giudecca, the island Venetians have retreated to for centuries, occupying three meticulously restored 16th-century buildings – including a former Palladio-designed lace school – set within almost a hectare of Mediterranean gardens. The 45-key property is every bit as extraordinary as you’d expect: five dining destinations helmed by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Nobu Matsuhisa, Norbert Niederkofler and Cédric Grolet; a 1,700m² Guerlain spa (the largest wellness space in Venice); Murano glass, custom Fortuny chandeliers and handpicked antiques throughout; and, opening in September, Elton’s Club — a music venue created in collaboration with Elton John, now a Venetian local. Venice has always been a fantasy. This makes it a reality worth booking.

USE THIS SERUM Obagi Medical NU-GEN™ Cellular Renewal Serum

If you’ve been paying any attention to longevity science, you’ll have heard the word NAD+ cropping up everywhere. Obagi Medical has made it the centrepiece of their newest, and most ambitious, launch. The NU-GEN™ Cellular Renewal Serum works by replenishing NAD+, a coenzyme found in every cell that declines naturally with age and acts as the body’s cellular fuel, powering everything from DNA repair to collagen maintenance. Clinically, the results speak for themselves. Lightweight, fast-absorbing and housed in an airless pump to preserve potency, it works beautifully as the foundational first step in any routine, morning and evening.

EAT HERE 130 Primrose, Primrose Hill

One of the most heartening restaurant openings in recent memory. Just opened on Regent’s Park Road, 130 Primrose is a social enterprise with charity status, built on a simple but powerful mission: to recruit, train and employ people with lived experience of homelessness. At its helm is Monica GalettiMasterChef: The Professionals judge and one of Britain’s most respected chefs – who has stepped in as Executive Chef and Trustee, creating a relaxed, Mediterranean-inspired à la carte menu celebrating the best of British seasonal produce, with plans to weave in influences from her native Samoa. The 50-cover brasserie is open seven days a week from 9am for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Book a table, have a beautiful meal and know that you’re contributing to something that matters.

TRY THIS La Maritxu, Coal Drops Yard, King's Cross

London’s most obsessed-over cheesecake brand is expanding – and this time, they’re heading to one of the capital’s most beautifully designed neighbourhoods. La Maritxu, the Basque cheesecake brand that has quietly built a cult following across the city, is opening its fourth site at Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross this May. Baked at a high temperature to achieve its distinctive dark exterior and rich, creamy centre, the cheesecake is made in the traditional style, as is done in Bilbao. Alongside the classic, customers can also expect a rotating selection of limited-edition flavours, as well as cheesecakes available by the slice and in four sizes including mini, medium, 8-inch, and 10-inch whole cakes. If you’ve not yet had one of their gloriously burnished, cloud-soft cheesecakes, consider this your sign.
