Summer might be merging into autumn, but the CF Teams calendars are as full as ever.

Including new restaurants to try, transitional staples to shop, beauty products for your basket, and a whole host of events to attend, these are some of the top things to do in September 2026.

September is here, the start of a new, busy autumnal chapter marked by cooler evenings, weekends away, books to read, theatre and TV shows to watch, restaurant openings, exciting collaborations and much (much!) more. This is all the inspiration you need to welcome September in style.

HOST Very excited to kick off a series of events with the member’s club at The Twenty Two, the first one is The World in Your Wardrobe, as we look at the destinations, cultures and artisans inspiring the season ahead. EAT Looking forward to a very romantic date night catch up with my husband after an epic and quite hectic summer at Dinings SW3. Sake this way please. TREAT MYSELF To a fabulous Debbi Thomas Signature facial, ever so needed, as well as trying her Cellis range. Plus, I’m off to Neville Hair and Beauty for their Epres Repair Treatment for Scalp and Hair. Watch this space for revitalised hair and skin!  SHOP As I popped into M&S to buy children’s uniform attire, I could not help but be drawn into their new range. I’m seemingly late to the game, but its somewhere I plan to do a little mini wardrobe refresh I think! BOOK I’ve managed to find the time to do it, and its with a group of friends. We are booking a mini hands-on introduction to sourdough class with BREAD AHEAD. Half day is a little much right now but in a quick 90 minutes, creating a starter and a basic lesson for some fabulous sourdough, girl’s night looks different sometimes! TRY Right near my daughter’s new school is a Lagree Studio which I’ve been very excited to try, so I’ll be booking in here post drop off.

STAY At Nobu Madrid, towards the end of the month. The 50 bedroom hotel opens on 1 September in the Las Cortes district and will (of course) bring a delicious new dining spot to the city too. READ And browse the new and archival photos in Beirut Habibi, the newest coffee table book by Assouline. Alongside words by Charif Majdalani, it showcases the history, architecture, culture and contrasts of the city. I love all of Assouline’s travel books but am particularly excited by this one. BUY One of the beautiful WOLF x Liberty jewellery boxes, a just-launched collaboration (2 September 2026). I love the embossed design on the navy colourway, and the travel-sized version will come in oh-so handy. RESEARCH SAD lights – the few duller days we’ve had over the last week have more than convinced me that I need one. I’ve read so many good things about Lumie but will be doing my research over the next few weeks before deciding which is best for me. BROWSE Another great collab – H&M Home x Kelly Wearstler launches today (3 September 2026) and I’m eyeing up the Solin Side Table, the Mona Clothing Rack and the Cova Candlesticks.

STAY At Bygdin Høifieldshotell in Norway – a historic 19th-century lodge set high in the mountains. Brilliant for hiking, I’m visiting because a friend is getting married, and it’s definitely going to be one of the most breathtaking wedding backdrops I’ve ever experienced. EAT & DRINK At Inko Nito, a new Japanese restaurant in the heart of Soho, from the team behind Roka. It comes highly recommended for a date night, with an open robata kitchen serving dishes designed for sharing. BUY A pair of Sealskinz Choseley Aqua Shoes as I hope to continue wild swimming and some gentle sailing into the autumn. They are a must-have for ensuring grip and for the UK’s stony beaches in particular! WEAR Underwear designed by women for women, so it looks good but feels good too. The Underdays’ Workout Set is perfect for underneath workout leggings (without VPL) and I love the new Vintage Blue colourway in particular. SEE Dr Ahmed El Muntasar at The Aesthetics Doctor Clinic in Mayfair. The super friendly aesthetic doctor is known for boosting skin glow in a single session and he’s also a brilliant source of emerging beauty trends, so I’m hoping to walk out with a refreshed face and some forward-thinking insights for future articles! ENJOY My favourite collaboration of the month – and no wet dog smell when it rains this autumn! Luxury fragrance house Jo Malone London has just unveiled a surprising – but rather brilliant – new partnership with British pet-care brand WildWash and my family’s golden retriever can’t wait to try the new Orange & Cedarwood Dog Shampoo that’s putting pet pampering front and centre this September.

GOI’ll be talking about fashion, travel and style at Citizen Femme’s The World In Your Wardrobe event at The Twenty Two on Tuesday 8th September. Joined by celebrity stylist Holly White and art director Federica Labanca, so expect some great conversation and hopefully some helpful packing tips – come join us.WEAR British brand By Søren is a recent discovery for me – and it’s so perfect for this in-between season. The focus is vintage linens with collections created by UK-based, female artisans (cue dreamy dresses and blouses perfect for anyone heading for early-autumn sun), but I also love its wool gilets, ideal for throwing over a shirt now the weather is cooler. WATCH As a long-standing Pulp fan, I’m really looking forward to the forthcoming documentary, What Do You Do For An Encore, which charts the band’s rise, out in cinemas for one night only on 18 September. I’m also hooked on Ryan Murphy’s new show, The Shards, a sleazy serial killer thriller starring Kaia Gerber, based on Bret Easton Ellis’ auto fiction of the same name. BUY Fashion legend Zandra Rhodes launches a jewellery collaboration on the 17th with Tatty Devine, which promises to be as colourful and upbeat as the designer herself. BOOK The National Portrait Gallery’s Tim Walker exhibition, Fairyland: Love and Legends, will be one of autumn’s buzziest cultural happenings, opening on 9 October. VISIT LFW darling Chopova Lowena has opened her first ever retail space at 84 Teesdale Street in East London, Chopova Lowena Clubhouse, which I’m keen to see first-hand. It sounds like a community hub as well as a bricks-and-mortar store – a winning combination. TRAVEL I’ll be heading to Sicily for my annual pilgrimage to Catania at the end of the month with my husband and son. I’m hoping Etna behaves herself… HOME Cult Italian director Luca Guadagnino, a man with discerning eye for aesthetics, has teamed up with Zara for a homeware collection launching at the end of this month. The full collection hasn’t been unveiled yet, but what I have seen looks beautiful. Keep your eyes peeled.

SALON September has well and truly launched event season! First up Citizen Femme’s first reader salon of the season on 8 September, just ahead of London Fashion Week. We’ll be talking all things fashion and travel at The Twenty-Two. STAY Following a recent stay at Cliveden House to celebrate the launch of TUMI Luggage new A/W range and I am excited to BUY my first ever backpack and have my eyes on this one. LUNCH aboard EXPLORA III, Explora Journeys’ newest ship, as she makes her maiden call to Southampton. Cruising has become cool again and I’m excited to experience their take on luxury at sea! GIRLS TRIP To Antibes for the weekend. We’re doing all the classics – Shellona, Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, but I’m possibly most excited for some much-needed girls-and-rosé time at the villa. HOST Discover Collection’s stateside launch during New York Climate Week with Edward Norton and Ami Vitale. RESTORE After all of that, a weekend in the Catskills for some fresh air, long walks, and good food – the perfect antidote to September’s social marathon.

EAT At Stefania in Westbourne Grove, which is firmly on my radar this month. The Roman-Italian restaurant is opening its first location outside Malaysia, with fourth-generation chef Diego Reali bringing the recipes and cooking techniques passed down by his mother, Stefania, and generations of his family to London. Expect proper Roman pastas, rich ragùs and grilled meats, all from a completely pork-free menu. WEAR This Ance Gria dress to a wedding I’m attending this month. I love the silver-grey colour, but it’s the draped sleeve detailing that really sold me. SEE The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon at the V&A, opening on 21 September. I love a fashion exhibition, and this free display explores one of the most recognisable pieces of British fashion: the Burberry trench. Definitely one for an autumn afternoon in South Kensington. GO TO Black on the Square at Trafalgar Square on 5 September. The free festival celebrates Black culture and creativity across London with music, food, entertainment, workshops and activities throughout the day. VISIT Brand63Africa at Harrods, launching on 7 September. The pop-up brings together luxury designers of African heritage, including Christie Brown, Namnyak Odupoy, Abiola Olusola, Sukeina and The Cloth. I’m always excited to discover more African designers, so this is easily one of the things I’m most looking forward to this month. WATCH The Gentlemen Season 2 on Netflix, out 3 September. Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are back, and this time Eddie is looking to grow his empire. I absolutely ate up the first season, so this will almost certainly be my next binge.
