This Week CF Loves: 21.09.26

Autumn is shaping up to be anything but quiet. This week’s edit is leading the way in transformation.

Dinner tables are turning into dancefloors, twisted metal is turning into wearable sculpture, a Mayfair icon opens its doors to blooms, and travel wardrobes are turning heads from platform to plane.

Whether you’re after your next big night out (or simply a catch up with girlfriends that runs past restaurant closing hours), a jewellery piece with real craft behind it, a fresh bunch for the flat, or the ultimate globetrotter’s edit, this week’s picks have it covered.

REFRESH YOUR BLOOMS HERE Claridge's Flowers, Brooks Mews

Brighten up your living room! The blooms that have long stopped guests in their tracks at Claridge’s now have a shopfront of their own. Tucked behind the hotel on Brooks Mews, Claridge’s Flowers is part flower shop, part working studio, with fresh stems arriving daily and a six-strong team conditioning and arranging in full view of visitors. Expect the best of British blooms, dahlias, delphinium, hydrangeas and more, sold by the stem from £25, alongside statement hand-tied bouquets. There’s also an online offer at claridgesflowers.co.uk from £75, and evening masterclasses, Flowers After Hours, pairing floristry with cocktails. A charming, theatrical new addition to Mayfair.

TRAVEL WITH THIS Louis Vuitton's Flight Mode AW26

Louis Vuitton’s Flight Mode collection is a love letter to the golden age of train travel, translated into ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and luggage for the modern nomad. Signature pieces include belted and double-breasted coats in two-tone cashmere, supple leather flight jackets, and knitwear in Monogram and beige tones. Bag-wise, the Low Key returns in Monogram red and walnut, while the Neverfull and Side Trunk debut a new Monogram Emblème canvas in Blue and Jura Green. Accessories run from Mahina suede Mary Janes to the Forevergram scarf and LV Arctic hat, while the Keepall and Horizon suitcase arrive in a new Aluminium finish, a polished edit for anyone jet-setting this season.

WEAR THIS Monica Vinader's OCHRE collection

Monica Vinader‘s new OCHRE collection turns rope-like tension and movement into solid form. Each piece starts life as hand-twisted sterling silver before selected designs are finished in 18ct gold vermeil, others left in their natural metal state. Hand-cut Red Jasper adds an earthy, tactile note: a deep-red, opaque stone long prized for its warmth and subtle natural banding, with no two stones alike. Across 11 pieces spanning earrings, rings, a bangle, necklaces, a bracelet and a hair pin, the collection captures sculptural ambition without sacrificing everyday wearability.

ENJOY LATE NIGHT DINNER HERE STK London

Looking for something that goes past regular catch-up hours? Sometimes you just need a little more time. STK Strand is turning up the volume with After Hours, a new late-night concept that carries guests from dinner into full-blown entertainment. Running every Friday from 7pm to midnight (last seating 10:30pm), it pairs STK’s steakhouse staples with a curated sharing menu, live DJ sets spanning Afro House, House and Deep House. and, once a month, live percussionists and dancers. You’ve got Corn Ribs and a Sirloin-Ribeye-Filet Steak Flight, with bottle service, an ideal add on for a memorable night out in town with the girls.

EAT HERE Mercato Metropolitano

Mercato Metropolitano marks a decade at Elephant & Castle with a Birthday Weekender running Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th September, packed with food, music and family fun. Thursday kicks off with bottomless pizza, gelato and prosecco at The Italian Corner, while Saturday brings a hands-on pizza workshop with chef Massimo. Elsewhere, 40+ independent traders keep the global flavours flowing, and German Kraft hosts DJ sets, a Fabric Records vinyl session and an EXT Radio showcase across the weekend. The Outdoor Piazza comes alive with live music, a Colombian dance performance and a salsa class, plus a Friday-night fireworks display. Family activities, a Sunday storytelling session and Crazy Boules round things out. Ten years in, MM has welcomed over 10 million visitors and served 65,000 meals through local charity partnerships, testament to it being a real community hub as much as a great market.
