For Kelly Shaw, travelling has always been a way of life. After an idyllic childhood spent at the Little Thetford School in Ely, England, her family moved to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area for 3 years before settling in the Wasatch Mountains. Upon graduating with a degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies, Kelly left for West Africa to study Senegalese gold jewelry. She worked briefly for a gallery in Chelsea, New York before heading west to San Francisco to pursue her passion working for a nonprofit. Some of the unforgettable experiences she has had while globe trotting are watching the New Year's Eve fireworks from a rooftop terrace in Cusco Peru; selecting a signature scent at Parfumerie Fragonard in Eze, France; meditating in the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Trichy, India; and picnicking in Poriya Isreal. Next on her list? Sailing along the Dalmatian Coast. Frequently found lost in a book, Kelly loves exploring the places words can take you. she is an admitted tea addict, surfer, and blogger.
