Laura Grunberg

Whilst Laura was born in Munich, over the years she has called not only Germany but also Switzerland, the UK and China her home. Today, when people ask her where she is from, she never quite knows what to say and prefers to simply smile and shrug her shoulders. Laura's love of travelling was kindled at a young age, as ever since the age of 14 she has been finding ways to escape her sleepy little swiss town and explore the world by herself. When Laura is not on a mission to discover new and quirky places, she loves to dance salsa late into the night, read non-fiction in cafés or find new ways of applying anthropological theories to everyday life (preferably with a good cup of tea or glass of wine in hand). Favourite places? Shanghai, Madagascar, Morocco and Edinburgh are only four of many! Dream Destination? Driving through Central Asia and visiting the different ‘stan countries, Salsa-ing through Cuba or exploring hidden corners of Iran
