Thanks to a childhood filled with travel, Yasmin developed a love of visiting the unknown and exploring new foods at an early age. She completed the NYU food studies masters degree, which turned her love of food and travel into a viable career. When she’s not writing about her passions, she’s probably cooking dinner, planning her next food-focused trip, or taking a moment away from constant communication in a yoga class. From paddle boarding in Hawaii, to practicing yoga in open air jungle studios in Nosara, CR, to roaming the streets of Hong Kong, she loves the simple beach life as much as the bustle of a vibrant city. On her wish list? To get invited to Francis Mallman’s island/home for dinner, stay at a traditional ryokan in Japan and visit every Aman property around the world. Yasmin grew up in Boston, lived for several years in LA and London, now resides in New York.
