Manhattan's Best Rooftop Bars

When visiting New York you must visit a rooftop! New York is all about the rooftops, enjoy a delicious cocktail and take in spectacular views, the best that this City has to offer. Here is a list of my personal favourites. Sit back and take in the view of picture-perfect Manhattan!

The Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar

This is the rooftop of the Conrad Hotel. It’s very small but has the best alcoholic drinks with a popsicle to help cool you down during the hot summer days.

Address: 102 North End Ave: Battery Park

The Jane Rooftop

Located at the Jane Hotel, this once was a well kept secret! For the first two years the only way to visit the rooftop was to have a reservation. It’s a fairly small space but it’s a beautiful way to relax and enjoy a spectacular sunset.

Address: 113 Jane St: West Village

SixtyFive Bar

Located on the 65th floor of the Rockefeller Building, my top tip is to save money and go here instead of Top of the Rock for the same exact views… for free!!! This is probably my favorite view when it comes to best rooftops in Manhattan!

Address: 30 Rockefeller Plaza: Midtown

Press Lounge

The rooftop of Ink48 Hotel, along the west side, Press Lounge is upscale and has some of Manhattan’s most spectacular night views and a definite personal favorite of mine.

Address: 653 11th Ave: Hell’s Kitchen

Le Bain at the Standard

The rooftop of the Standard Hotel is a great place to lounge on pink beds and colorful seats. This is one of the most fun rooftops and ideal for summer afternoons. During the summer they have a selection of music events. An ideal place to take my incoming visitors.

Address: 848 Washington St: Meat Packing

Jimmy at The James

The rooftop of The James Hotel in Soho has a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge and the World Trade Center. With a pool right in the middle of the rooftop, its very sexy indeed!

Address: 15 Thompson St: Soho

Roof Garden Café and Martini Bar at The Met

Located at the Roof Garden Cafe at the Metropolitan Museum, this is a lovely place for happy hour and a great break from culture buffs wandering around the museum. With amazing views of Central Park, its a good option to other viewing decks!!

Address: 1000 5th Ave: Upper East Side

The Skylark

This is an awesome rooftop with great food and drinks,  overlooking Midtown, the Hudson River, Times Square and The Empire State Building. Great for after work drinks, and its a pretty large space so it’s perfect for large parties.
