This Week CF Loves: 28.06.2021

Music nights courtesy of Morito, a Loretta Caponi x KOIBIRD collab (just in time for summer), plus the Friends of Ssōne pop-up not to be missed.

Here’s what’s hot this week, according to CF…

JOIN THIS Carlyle & Co., Hong Kong

CF readers, take note: Rosewood Hotel Group are opening Carlyle & Co., a new private members’ club located in Hong Kong. Inspired by the glamour of New York’s iconic hotel, The Carlyle, Caryle & Co. will welcome a carefully curated community of members pooled together by their passions and interests, rather than by profession. Offering a rich cultural calendar, amenities at the clubhouse – which is positioned across three levels in the Victoria Dockside development – will include standalone dining and bar concepts, a music room, a reading room, a wine cellar, living room, a private barber, tailor, and more.

WEAR THIS KOIBIRD X Loretta Caponi

London-based concept store KOIBIRD have teamed up with Italian heritage brand Loretta Caponi to create an exclusive 15-piece capsule collection that is cute as pie. We’re head over heels for this dreamy edit of floaty, ruched silhouettes in printed linens and light cottons. Playful patterns dominate across sporty and romantic cuts, offering the perfect mix of styles to suit all holiday eventualities. For those (optimistically) planning out their European summer wardrobe, an item or two from KOIBIRD X Loretta Caponi would make the perfect addition(s).

SPRITZ THIS Diptyque, Ilio Eau De Toilette 100ML

This year, Diptyque is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and, as such, they’ve planned a series of launches and events from January to December to mark the occasion. Embarking on a voyage of discovery and embracing the trio of Founders’ appetite for travel and exploration, artist Luke Edward Hall continues the brand’s Grand Tour by illustrating the iconic oval on the limited-edition Ilio fragrance bottle – a scent that celebrates the Med. For Diptyque’s founders, the Mediterranean was the “landscape of the soul” – Ilio Eau De Toilette blends fresh, juicy notes of prickly pear with floral notes of jasmine and iris. Suitable for wear day or night, thanks to its delicate bouquet, this is an indispensable summer item for your carry on.

SHOP THIS Ssōne x Ancient Greek Sandals Pop-Up

Contemporary womenswear brand Ssōne have launched a Friends of Ssōne pop-up initiative to celebrate reopening their Chiltern Street store. Showcasing craftmanship at its finest, and driving awareness on the importance of sustainable practices, Ancient Greek Sandals will be the first in a series of friends to be welcomed to the W1 space. Expect an array of upcycled and sustainable styles from Ancient Greek Sandals on display – we’re shopping the limited edition Ssōne & Ancient Greek Sandals clog collaboration created from leather off cuts.

BOOK THIS Music Nights, Morito

Curated by local Hackney musician Crispin Forster, Morito Music nights are launching this week (kicking off on 29 June). Housed in the new basement space at Morito Hackney Road, head here on Tuesday nights and enjoy an evening of music and food for £40pp. Your ticket covers your three-course menu of sharing starters, main course (we’ve our eyes on the deep-fried aubergine, served with date molasses and whipped feta), and dessert, plus entertainment.
