CF'S Monthly Fashion Round Up: October 2022

It’s time to plan your sartorial calendar, aided by the October dose of CF’s monthly fashion round-up.

Limited edition collections, exciting collaborations, and new season launches incoming. Mark your diaries.

THE CASHMERE

'Tis the season for cosy cashmere, and Reformation's latest launch is just in time. As the brand strives for climate positivity, the 90/10 collection is made from 90 per cent recycled cashmere and 10 per cent virgin cashmere. It has an 87 per cent less carbon impact than conventional cashmere, and is also 80 per cent less water intensive. Continuing to establish themselves as sustainability leaders, cashmere with a conscious is top of our wishlist.

THE TIMEPIECES

NET-A-PORTER's new campaign Set The Pace highlights the world of fine watches through the lens of stylish tastemakers, accomplished changemakers, and watch experts. With an extensive edit of classic and contemporary timepieces from key luxury brands including Cartier, Hermés Timepieces, and Piaget, you're guaranteed to find your perfect partner in time.

THE EARRINGS

British fine-jewelley brand Cece Jewellery has launched its charming Wildflower Collection featuring four hoop-earring styles crafted in recycled 18-karat gold and enamelled British wildflowers, inspired by the founder's childhood memories of growing up in the English countryside. Marking Cece's first foray into earrings, each hoop is hand-painted and hand-engraved with enamelled flowers and foliage, and completed with a scattering of star set diamonds.

THE JET SET STYLE

MICHAEL Michael Kors Fall 2022 has touched down in London with a new campaign highlighting the brand's jet set DNA and international appeal. The collection – which revels in the city's slick sophistication – is made up of cosy knits, sleek leather staples, and evening-ready dresses all suited for a fast-paced, globetrotting life. Take note of the new hero bag, the Parker (pictured) with its bold, architectural Empire hardware and iconic logo print.

THE TRAVEL BAG

Tusting is a luxury heritage brand loved by the royals and its latest collaboration, with British entreprenuer India Hicks, consists of four effortless styles for the modern traveller. The epitome of quiet, luxurious elegance, our favourite is The Savannah: its sleek, tan leather, exterior and generous size will see you through life's many adventures.

THE ZODIAC NECKLACE

London based fine-jewellery brand Roxanne First is known for its fun, mood-boosting designs, and the new Zodiac collection is delicate with a twist. Inspired by the tattoo line drawings which adorn the founder's arms, the squared moonstone pendants with solid gold zodiac symbols combine cosmic symbolism with magical moonstone properties. The stone is thought to bring balance, harmony, and hope while helping with creativity, compassion, and inner confidence.

THE DESTINATION DRESS

Whether you're jetting off for some winter sun or have a destination wedding to attend, Sydney-based label AJE is a go-to for occasion dressing. Often encapsulating an artisanal spirit in their collections, the Resort 23 collection, Sculptura, boasts maximal silhouttes, interesting textures, and a bold colour palette designed as an ode to nature.

THE MODERN BRIDE

This London-based label is a cult favourite for vintage-inspired designs and, if you're a bride-to-be going against the grain, mark 21st October in your calendar. The upcoming release of RIXO's third bridal collection will feature gold-toned jacquards, silk tailoring, ostrich-feather trims, and oversized bows that fill a gap in the market for contemporary brides.
