Instagram butlers take your vacation picture to the next level

It’s all happening! If you didn’t post it on instagram, did it happen? Such questions are so important that ultra luxury resort, The Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort announced not only the introduction of their “Instagram trails,” but also of their “Instagram butlers.”

The #InstaTrail helps guests discover “the most picturesque locations” on the property – 1, 3 and 5-hour tours meant for Instagrammers. Capture images of shooting stars for one hour under the stars of the Astro-tourism site, induce food envy amongst followers whilst learning how to make dumplings at restaurant Ufaa in a three hour cookery class, or go island hopping through the local atolls and connect with Maldivian culture in a five hour itinerary. Head to the farthest tip on Rangali Island complete with technicolour sunsets, or swing on an Undholi (a traditional Maldivian swing) whilst gazing out over the Indian Ocean, or get a fish-eye view from under the ocean in the world’s first all-glass undersea restaurant Ithaa.

For photographers hoping to capture the magical ‘golden hour’, a term used to describe the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset, the ‘Instagram Butler’ will teach guests how to perfect that dream shot, with factors such as the optimum time of day and the best position to pinpoint their phones or cameras taken into consideration.

These “social media savvy” guides will help you capture the most picturesque moments. Yogis can tee up their tour with a yoga class directed by the resort’s resident yogi where they will be taught the best poses to capture on camera set against a myriad of ocean hues.

Check out #InstaTrail to get some serious wanderlust of their pictures!
