Citizen Femme Hotlist: 20.01.20

The official Pantone colour for 2020 is Classic Blue but that’s no excuse to wallow in the January blues. Buoyed by a fresh new decade, January has never looked brighter.

We’ve got the wanderlust products and escapades to put a spring in your step. From the gourmet festival in the Alps to the safari-inspired leather travel case, here’s what’s on our radar in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

EAT HERE

If skiing’s revved up your appetite, get your gastronomic fix at the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival. Now in its 27th year, the event brings together super-chefs from kitchens all around the world in the Upper Engadine – and it’s a female affair for 2020. For the first time ever, the festival has an all-female guest chef line up, including Michelin star Cristina Bowerman – one of Italy’s most influential chefs. Taking place from 31 January to 8 February, the glamorous nine-day festival has a full programme that’s made for foodies.

BUY THIS

If you’re wondering what Meghan Markle is packing for those transatlantic journeys to Canada, it’s probably STOW. Prior to becoming a royal, the actress was regularly snapped touting her orange leather tech case. Now the brand has updated its most-loved Mini First Class Leather Tech Case via a collaboration with British illustrator and designer Emma J Shipley. Inspired by a South African safari adventure, the limited edition green case features a hand-drawn Kruger illustration and we’re a little obsessed.

WEAR THIS

With party season done and dusted, January and February is officially the reign of cosying up in cashmere. If you want something more than plain neutrals, check out Cocoa Cashmere’s new SS20 drop, ‘The Colour of Memory’. Think co-ords, skirts, cardigans and scarves featuring bright pops of rainbow colour to freshen up your winter wardrobe. In 100% cashmere, we love the contrast sleeve Penny Jumper (£265), a classic roll neck jumper in cloud grey with colour block panels of blue and yellow.

DRINK THESE

Still sticking to your Dry January pledge? Head to Near & Far to sample London’s largest non-alcoholic offering across its two sites in Peckham and Camden. The extensive selection at the bar includes over 20 hangover-free mocktails aptly named the ‘Designated Driver’ (Feragaia, strawberry purée, citrus, egg white and ginger syrup) and ‘The Virgin Margy’ (0% gin, agave syrup and citrus served with salted rim) as well as 0% spirits and wines. Launching this month, you’ll also find dry bottomless weekend brunches with gluten-free, vegan and veggie options.

WORK OUT HERE

Meet the workout products that act like a personal trainer for your face. Give your facial fitness a boost with Face Gym’s Training Stick Minis Set (£45). Designed to be applied before physical activity, sweep these mini training sticks across your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin to leave your skin hydrated and glowing. In a 100% recycled, travel-friendly pouch, the set includes: Pink Clay Brightening Stick, Spirulina Firming Lifting Stick, Charcoal Detox Stick, and Multi-Vitamin Pro Age Stick. We’ll meet you on the gym floor…
