This Week CF Loves

This Week CF Loves: 15.02.21

Face creams, fanciful gifts for the home, and fabulous jewellery… Valentine’s Day may have been and gone but self-love (and our ardent shopping habit) endures.

Here’s a rundown of what’s caught our eye this week on CF.

SHOP THIS Lauren Rubinski, Link-chain 14kt gold choker

Handcrafted in Italy, this Lauren Rubinski choker comprises of a series of chunky yet lightweight links that graduate in size. Made of polished 14kt gold and fitted with a simple lobster clasp and a logo-engraved plaque, Rubinski’s design manage to strike the balance between timelessness and modernity. Hailey Bieber and Kate Moss are fans – so you’ll be in some stylish company should you choose to invest. Ideal for layering and stacking, we’re pairing ours with an unbuttoned shirt or sumptuous cashmere knit.

PRIMP WITH THIS Eve Lom, Begin And End Dual Pack

This limited edition Begin & End Dual Pack: Cleanser & Moisture Cream from Eve Lom is pure magic. Featuring the brand’s cult cleanser and richly nourishing moisturiser, the innovative dual pack – twist off the bottom to cleanse, twist off the top to moisturise – is a travel saviour. Stackable by design, it also comes with an extra lid – should you every wish to only take one half of the equation with you on your adventures. To use, begin with the 5-in-1 balm Cleanser to cleanse, hydrate, tone, and exfoliate, and finish with the multi-tasking Moisture Cream, which gives a flash filler effect to help noticeably reduce existing, and prevent future, lines and wrinkles. A youthful glow is practically guaranteed.

Anthropologie X Hôtel Magique

SLEEP WITH THIS Anthropologie X Hotel Magique, Douillet Pillow

Bali-based brand Hôtel Magique (not a hotel, FYI, but the magic part is verifiable) has launched a new and exclusive range with Anthropologie. With Hôtel Magique founder Milou Neelen’s stranded in Amsterdam for a portion of the pandemic (ordinarily, Milou lives in Bali), the founder and designer set to creating a playful collection for the home. One of our favourite pieces of the collection is this Douillet Pillow. With “bonjour” stitched on the front and “bonsoir” set out on the back of the rectangular silhouette, you can fall asleep (and wake up) dreaming of Paris. 100% cotton with contrasting cherry-hued trim it’s the ultimate souvenir to see you through lockdown.

WATCH THIS Amazon Prime, Soulmates

Set 15 years into the future, Soulmates presents a sextet of stories/ episodes exploring a scientific discovery that changes the lives of everyone on the planet – a way to find your soulmate. While many of us are used to the concept of using tech to find your perfect person, Soulmates is by no means a story of online dating. Rather, in Soulmates, the characters take one simple test and are met with one of three responses. The first is who their soulmate is, the second tells them their soulmate hasn’t ‘tested’ yet, while the third option informs them their soulmate is no longer around. With a cast including familiar names – think Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) and Sarah Snook (Succession) – each episode will tell a story about the cost of finding true love. Available to stream now.

DRESS UP WITH THIS Givenchy, Logo and chain-print silk-satin scarf

Our style tip of the week: dress up a boring (or oft-repeated) outfit with a scarf. When you stop to consider your options, you’ll quickly learn that the scarf-styling possibilities are endless – cardigans are upgraded with a neckerchief; a white shirt gets reworked with a cinched silk belt. With the re-emergence of retro scarf trends, we’re rushing to add this Givenchy red and ivory scarf to our cart. Printed with a logo and chain pattern, this sophisticated, multi-function accessory is crafted in Italy from lustrous silk satin twill and finished with defined hand-rolled edges. How will you style yours?
