'Til The Last Drop #21

Welcome to ‘Til The Last Drop: a bi-monthly column in which I, CF Beauty Editor, Olivia Bennett, share my review of a favourite cult product that I (truly) use to the last drop. This week’s featured product is Chanel’s La Crème Main.

I’m messaged by friends and family, at all hours of the day, with recommendation requests for everything from “the budget gel moisturiser that works with combination skin” to “the hard-hitting eye cream that will make Botox a last resort”, and queries on “whether X, Y, and Z from the current trending brand are REALLY worth the hype”.

Such incessant inquiries sparked this column, where I’ll cover best-selling names alongside under-the-radar brands to note. You’ll hear about blow-the-budget products that live up to their hefty price tag and the purse-friendly steals which I unashamedly turn to time and again.

No need to text me, I’ll be sharing all my intel with you right here every other week. Tune in.

With the never-ending cycle of hand washing and sanitising, a hand cream is the on-the-go stalwart to pop in your handbag at all times. Exacerbated by the dropping temperature, your hands will probably be a little dry and rough right now. That's why I can't live without Chanel Crème La Main to replenish lost moisture and keep hands soft and supple. Potentially the smartest hand cream we’ve ever seen, this smooth, egg-shaped dispenser fits perfectly into your palm, and doesn't lose it's shape. With a delicate, fresh scent, product sinks seamlessly into skin without even a whisper of greasy residue. Containing derivitives from the flowers at the heart of the Chanel brand: May rose wax (to smooth and soften skin) and iris pallida extracts (to brighten), this is proof not all hand creams are created equal.
