The hotel’s classical English rooms will tempt you to stay put for hours on end, but once unpacked we encourage you to explore beyond your supremely comfy quarters.

Pre-dinner, you’re invited to enjoy a relaxed evening drink in The Goring Cocktail Bar. Explore their signature cocktail list, which places focus on British spirits. Our tipple of choice: Rosehip Royale (a regal adaption of the Pimm’s Royale).

Come 8PM (or whenever you choose to dine), shift from the sumptuous surrounds of The Goring Bar to the wowing Michelin-starred Dining Room, where you’ll enjoy a three-course dinner for two. Dinner is an elegant affair, so pack your glad rags and make the most of the evening. You’ll tuck into a munificent feast, spanning the finest British food – think Orkney scallops, Dover sole topped with smoked caviar, Red Horn beef Wellington, and more.

After a good night’s sleep, enjoy a traditional English breakfast – Clarence Court eggs cooked your way, with bacon, herb sausage, mushrooms, tomato, black pudding etc. – alongside an array of breakfast pastries, toasts, cereals, fruits, and juices. Once you’re fuelled up, it’s time to venture out. Looking for some inspiration as to where to head? The attentive hotel staff will be only too glad to advise. For a first port of call, why not try Buckingham Palace, or book tickets to a matinee at Victoria Palace Theatre. After an afternoon of exploring, return to The Goring in time for some tea by the fire. Bliss.
