This Week CF Loves: 01.07.24

The sun glazing over our heads, mist in our hair, outdoor art markets and rooftop pools, this is really what’s happening this week.

Whether it requires a plane or a short hop and a skip, our summer season is in full swing, and yes, this includes Tequila Tuesdays in one of London’s finest locations. This is what we’re loving in this week’s Citizen Femme hotlist.

STAY HERE Cap Rocat, Mallorca

With the school holidays just around the corner, family-friendly hotels are often top of the list. But, for those looking for a little adults-only time, Cap Rocat in Mallorca is your go-to. The destination may not come to mind as the first spot for a relaxed hideaway, but rest assured, this stylish ancient fortress is set in a nature reserve right on the water’s edge is in its own private peninsula with panoramic views over Palma Bay. With only 30 beautifully designed suites, all with private terraces, the hotel is surrounded by 88-acres of private land and two kilometres of private beach. Couples can enjoy the Sea Club Restaurant serving the freshest fish straight from the boat whilst enjoying views over the spectacular infinity pool. A visit to the hammam shouldn’t go amiss, with a private session in the spa with access to the indoor swimming pool beneath a sky full of stars amidst scented candles. Sail in the Cap Rocat boat, enjoy several different beaches and hidden coves and while there isn’t much else to do, take time to indulge in the beauty of doing absolutely nothing, in what’s arguably one of the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean.

USE THIS OUAI St Barts Hair & Body Mist

Anything that includes St Barts in its name immediately catches my attention. A way to package the sweet summer smell of one of the world’s most spectacular destinations has me adding to basket. Body sprays are a great, lightweight way to feel fresh throughout the summer holidays. The Ouai St. Barts Hair & Body Mist is the latest addition to the St Barts range and tops the chart as one of the best-smelling body sprays to launch this year, distilling the hair care line’s fan-favourite body lotion scent into a mist that you can work into your hair or spritz on your limbs. Formulated with dragon fruit, musk, and orange blossom melded together the spray creates a warming, refreshing scent that smells like a luxury coastal resort. You only need one pump of Ouai’s St Barts Hair and Body Mist for the full effect and not only will you feel fresh on long vacation days, but you’ve successfully captured the essence of the beach long after beach days are gone as well.

BOOK AHEAD The Berkeley rooftop

The Berkeley re-opens up its rooftop – usually reserved for staying guests – to all for the rest of the Summer. An ideal spot to soak up sweeping sunset views over Hyde Park, whilst sitting by the glistening pool, if this July calls for no travels, this is just the spot to feel like you’re on vacation. Unrivalled views of London’s skyline are complemented with a series of new tequila-based cocktails (in collaboration with PATRÓN) – make sure to order the PATRÓN Tequila Colada. A trio of tacos and a ‘make your own’ guacamole are highlights of the new menu, starting with a base of fresh smashed avocado, and adding toppings including spring onion, chilli, garlic, tomato, coriander, toasted seeds, and lime, to dip crunchy house-made tortillas. And of course Tulum comes to you with Taco Tuesdays,  with a fourth ‘secret’ off-menu option. As a sweet treat in the sun, The Berkeley rooftop soft serve machine will dispense a selection of changing ice cream flavours throughout the season, complete with perfectly piped sunglass biscuits on the side. Happy holidays!
