The cleansing balm you need to take on your flight

When you go to the website of Omorovicza, you are a little lost, or spoilt for choice. There are so many options, you want to try it all.

If you’re a newbie to the brand, Omorovicza is a cult Hungarian skincare brand, with luxurious skincare for all the weather changes you will face on your travels.

As an avid traveller, I was suggested the Thermal Cleansing Balm, the self proclaimed ‘best cleanser you will ever use’. A black balm made with Hungarian Moor mud, open the luxurious glass bottle and you get the scent of a spa in your home. It comes with a mini spatula and mitt to apply and wipe the balm to cleanse or wash off make-up or for your morning routine.

The balm has calcium and magnesium carbonates that act as a magnet to impurities and make-up, as well as almond oil to nourish and protect the skin, and key minerals to boost collagen.

How does it work?

Take a small amount with the spatula, apply to cheeks first and work in a circular motion to break down the balm. It emulsifies into an oil-like cleanser and once oily, you work it up to your eyes and it will remove any make up you have on, including waterproof mascara. This is meant as a one step process, you clean your face with this and wipe with lukewarm water using the cloth provided with the balm.

I’m not sure I’d use it to remove make-up , but if you’re a regular traveller, and dry skin can be a problem, this is the product to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated. Even better, its under 100ml, so you can take it on board with you, cleanse your face with some water and the mitt to keep your skin in great condition during the flight.
