This Week CF Loves: 01.08.22

This week, we’re checking out a brand new wellness festival and soon-to-be cult brand, Soho Skin – ‘a hardworking range of modern skincare essentials’ from the creative minds at Soho House.

Scroll on to discover now.

SHOP THIS Swarovski x Rosenthal

We’re totally mesmerised by Swarovski’s Signum Collection, the first homeware collection Giovanna Engelbert has designed at Swarovski. “Crafted in partnership with world-renowned porcelain artisan Rosenthal, the collection is a fusion of porcelain and crystal, imagined in a range of moreish candy colours – green, pink, yellow, and blue.” Proving there is real artistry to setting a table, this “retro-futuristic” set is just the ticket for opulent tablescaping.

BOOK THIS Kin House

The newly opened Kin House – a restored Georgian, Grade-II listed manor in the Wiltshire countryside – is where we want to get married (never mind the fact that we’re not yet engaged). The mutable space offers guests ‘everything you love about a hotel, tailored to private events’ – from corporate away days to brand events, and aforementioned nuptials. With 12 bedrooms and spaces that can host up to 200 for family style dinners and cocktails, venue hire starts from £12,500. Considered interiors are by the ever-impressive Barlow & Barlow – a scroll through their/Kin House’s Instagram will be enough to entice you to book on the spot.

PRIMP WITH THIS Soho Skin

With a core range of hard-working, genderless skincare essentials, Soho Skin – from the creative minds at Soho House – is certain to make an appearance in a bathroom vanity near you any day now. Efficacy and efficiency are the brand’s driving principles; “the core formulation at the heart of the line is the Soho Skin Concentrate – uniquely designed to restore energy, regenerate skin structure, and protect the microbiome”. Prices start from £15 – our current favourites include the brightening 24/7  Treatment and the hydrating Lip Balm.

Mondo Corsini

WEAR THIS Jo Blouse, Mondo Corsini

When imagining their Heroines collection, the team at Mondo Corsini knew they had to design a piece named after Little Women‘s indomitable Jo March. And, as Louisa May Alcott fans, we’re so glad they did. Crafted from blue and white stripe linen, the Jo blouse cuts a ‘relaxed silhouette, distinguished by elegant ruffle detailing at the wrist’. We’re wearing ours everywhere from St Tropez to St Ives for sunny days spent beachside (style note: come winter, the aforementioned ruffled detailing looks super peeping out from beneath knitwear).

SIGN UP TO THIS Wisdom on Wellness

A new wellbeing festival – Wisdom on Wellness (WOW) – comes to Painshill Park, Cobham, Surrey, “bringing together speakers, practitioners, and yogis, plus food and wellness experiences to create a holistic and joyful day out”. The two-day event (running 20 and 21 August), will focus on bringing like-minded people together to connect, collaborate, and celebrate holistic health and healing in a joyful and safe space. Take a breathing class in the tranquil walled gardens; attend a panel talk at the Amphitheatre; or sign up to a session with a Reiki master in the Wellness Marketplace. The weekend is yours to shape.
