CF's Monthly Fashion Round-Up: February 2024

It’s time to plan your sartorial calendar, aided by Citizen Femme’s February 2024 fashion round-up.

Featuring new season swimwear, the must-know accessories brand and summer-ready styles, our fashion editor’s picks will banish those cold February blues.

THE SHIRT

Sustainable British shirting brand With Nothing Underneath have expanded their best-selling denim offering with the launch of their Classic Shirt in an off-white shade ready for Spring. Following the success of their mid-weight blue denim option last summer, this new shade will seamlessly transition into your new season wardrobe, working as a solo option come Spring or layered over a roll-neck jumper and under a jacket in cooler weather. Style with matching ecru jeans for a chic tonal look.

THE BELT

French accessories brand Déhanche is aptly named after the French word that translates to ‘the sway of one's hips’. Founder Erin Webb created the brand after finding it impossible to find beautifully understated belts for everyday. Coming up trumps with their sleek, stylish designs, Déhanche will replace all your designer logo belts this year. The sell-out Hollyhock is top of my wishlist.

THE SWIMWEAR

Celebrating 40 years of their iconic Original Crinkle fabric, modern nostalgia is the mood for Hunza G's Spring 24 collection. The brand's best-selling stripes have been updated in a palette of metallic cocoa, khaki and wine and new hero silhouettes embody a retro feel inspired by their inception in 1984.

THE BAG

Ghiera is the new bag from Loro Piana, inspired by the homonymous ring-shaped pendant that has always adorned the maison's garments and accessories. Combing the brand's roots of modernity and simplicity, the minimalist design is functional and timeless, expertly crafted in soft, calfskin dyed leather. Available in four different shades – Sunday Morning, Peach Suede, Dark Chocolate Licorice and Deep Kummel – the Ghiera can be worn as a shoulder bag or a cross-body, and comes in two sizes: the small and the mini.

THE COLLAB

Fashion designer Mara Hoffman was so inspired by her holiday at One&Only Mandarina, she created a capsule collection of swimwear that echos the lush landscapes of Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit. Crafted from sustainable materials and featuring a bold tropical print reflective of the resorts nature, the one-piece swimsuit and bandeau bikini is a match made in heaven for tropical holidays in 2024.

THE BRAND

Amsterdam-based brand Róhe has launched an edit of ready-to-wear pieces on NET-A-PORTER that transcend seasons and trends with designs that seamlessly complement your everyday wardrobe. Founders Marieke Meulendijks and Maickel Weyers share a love of photography, art and architecture, which is reflected in every one of their designs. Expect classic pieces with an unexpected edge, made from exceptional Italian fabrics, and boasting uncompromising quality.
