This Week CF Loves: 15.11.2021

As we hit mid-November, it’s time to get into the seasonal swing.

From gifting ideas for the festive season to the beauty pop-up we’re all too eager to visit, check out the latest edition of CF’s hotlist below.

GIFT THIS Frutti Di Bosco Cake Stand, Skye McApline

As festive gatherings begin to dominate our iCals, we’ve had to really get our thinkings caps on vis-à-vis suitable hosting gifts. This colourful cake stand by Skye McAlpine TAVOLA is a real winner. If time (and skill) allows, try whipping up the accompanying special recipe from Skye for brandy and winter berry cloud cake to present atop.

BOOK THIS NoMad's 'Home Away For The Holidays'

Plans for the festive season? With conflicting options to choose from, we’re quite tempted to check into NoMad London, who have just launched a newHome Away For The Holidays’. The spoiling package, which applies to stays from 24 – 26 December includes: breakfast in The NoMad Restaurant; early check-in at 11AM and late check-out at 4PM to extend the occasion (we’ve never felt more seen); plus a seasonal cocktail on arrival. You’ll also have doorstop access to Covent Garden’s festive food markets, Christmas lights, and a 55ft Christmas tree adorned with 30,000 lights. V festive indeed. Shall we write our Santa letters now?

TRY THIS Facegym Pro Xtreme Pulse

We’d go to FaceGym every week for their Signature Facial if we could afford it. That said, learning that the ‘Pro Xtreme Pulse’ tool was now available for purchase, thereby allowing us to recreate the experience at home (at a more accessible price, based on cost per use) we instantly added it to our cart. “A non-invasive facelift”, the tool stimulates facial muscles to deliver a firmer, more toned appearance. Hydrate and plump the skin using the accompanying Collagen Infusion Serum, targeting under eyes, brows, jawline, forehead, and cheeks.

TOAST TO THIS Festive Mixology, Vashi X Seedlip

Raise a glass to the festive season with Vashi and Seedlip. Joining forces to create an exclusive cocktail-making masterclass which celebrates the creation process and the conscious, sustainable approach both brands share, this unique in-store experience at Vashi’s Covent Garden flagship will run over two days (18 and 19 November). Ticket holders will enjoy a welcome drink, discover the cocktail making process, and sample some of Seedlip’s seasonal mixes, and will also experience first-hand the wonders of the Vashi workshop. Join the experience as a pair, or book it privately for a group of up to six friends. It’s time to revel in the season’s celebrations.

SHOP THIS The House Of Eldridge Pop-Up

Make-up artist Lisa Eldridge pop-up studio in Covent Garden is a must-visit for the beauty obsessed. Shop Eldridge’s beauty range – one must-buy on our shopping list: the new Seamless Skin Foundation – before making tracks for The Lipstick Lounge, which will host a range of talks and masterclasses over the coming weeks. We’re particularly interested in ‘History In Your Handbag’, Eldridge’s curated vintage make-up museum exhibition displaying, amongst other beauty artefacts, Audrey Hepburn’s Cartier lipstick holder. Swoon.
