This Week CF Loves: 18.03.24

We’ve spotlighted the weekend break away that has it all, the perfect pick for a getaway to suit everyone in the group.

Plus, spring is most definitely in bloom with these classes for green fingers at Petersham Nurseries, and enjoy a taste of one of London’s finest private members’ clubs, open to the public this week only. There’s plenty to do in your own time, or to enjoy with friends in this week’s Citizen Femme Hotlist.

GO HERE WITH FRIENDS Harry’s Bar Residency x Scott’s Richmond

Private members’ club, Harry’s Bar, opens up for a hot second and brings la dolce vita to the Thames riverside with its four-day pop up at Scott’s Richmond. In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Harry’s Bar this year, Scott’s Richmond will be transformed into the epitome of Italian opulence. Take the opportunity to indulge in some of the iconic dishes from Harry’s Bar that have evolved over their significant history including the house signatures: beef carpaccio, green tagliolini and tiramisu. Founded in 1979 Harry’s Bar is one of London’s most exclusive private members’ clubs and is famed worldwide for its exquisite decor, food and cocktails. If you book in time, try to secure a spot on the Wednesday or Thursday when there will be a live Italian jazz band.

WEAR THESE Santoni Oly trainer

Your summer shoe has arrived. Kick off those Samba’s, here’s our new favourite. Italian shoe brand Santoni welcomes their new iconic Oly Trainer. Inspired by the pared-back silhouette of classic tennis shoes, the lightweight new lace-up incorporates Santoni’s double-buckle House icon along with other considered elements, including a distinct zig-zag finish on the double-buckle detail and colourful designs sitting on natural-toned rubber soles. A women’s suede and velvet style, and an all-suede version for men are available, channelling a retro vibe with classic Santoni heritage, plus hints of gold that amp up the everyday glam for weekends in St. Tropez.

BOOK THESE Petersham Nurseries Urban Green Workshops

Petersham Nurseries is embracing the new season, bringing ‘The School of Garden Inspiration’ to Covent Garden with a series of Urban Green workshops for city gardeners. In line with the Nurseries’ ethos of sustainability and respect for the environment, each workshop will be centred around the joys of gardening with British grown-flowers, foliage and produce. Whether its hands-on gardening or creating your own spring bouquets, potting your own plants or learning the artistry of vase arrangement with seasonal flowers, this is one to visit with your mum, your friends or just for a morning enjoying the spring by yourself, followed by a light lunch in their seasonal restaurant and a wander around the ever-exciting Covent Garden.

STAY HERE Nobu Hotel Barcelona

Barcelona should absolutely be on your radar for 2024 travels. With loads of museums, great shopping, incredible food, an excellent natural wine scene, plus right on the beach, it’s not hard to make the decision to head to the city that has, quite frankly, all of it. On top of that, this year, the city is set to welcome sporting events, festivals and plenty of local celebrations, making it an ideal destination for those with a penchant for luxury and culture. Nobu Hotel Barcelona, near Plaza de España, is set in the middle of the vibrant energy of the city. An official hotel for Barcelona Fashion Week (9-12 April), the hotel is a design dream. With interiors by David Rockwell, it elegantly fuses Catalan heritage with traditional Japanese craftsmanship, drawing inspiration from Gaudi’s Park Güell mosaics and Japanese Kintsugi broken pottery art. Take a seat on the rooftop – the highest pool lounge in the city – with yuzu cocktail in hand, and capture views of the Formula 1 Grand Prix or the Americas Sailing Cup (you’ll see the regattas in the distance).
