The Ibiza Hotel For Party-Lovers, Foodies And Families

Overlooking magnetic Es Vedrà, 7Pines Resort on Ibiza’s west coast caters to every type of Ibiza devotee – party people, young families and stylish lovebirds, we’re looking at all of you.

There was plenty of hype when this village-like resort opened in 2019, thanks to several world-class restaurants, a 54-metre infinity pool, spectacular coastal views and contemporary-chic rooms. The buzz hasn’t died down and, whether you’re in the market for a kids’ club or a romantic dinner under the stars, they’ve got you covered.

The Vibe

Extensive facilities, gorgeous surroundings and superb staff mean you can make 7Pines whatever you want it to be. Here you’ll find five restaurants, three swimming pools (not including your private plunge if you’ve opted for one), several bars and endless photo opportunities in front of sweeping ocean views.

Friends, families and couples check in alongside each other here; thanks to its large location and carefully-curated areas within, the hotel pulls off what many others can’t, resulting in many loyal customers who return time and time again.

The Rooms

Scattered throughout the lush greenery and along winding paths, 185 guest rooms are housed on upper and lower levels in white-washed suites. Choose between a cliff, laguna or garden residence – plus, the hotel has just added luxurious villas to their roster which are ideal for a family getaway or a special celebration.

Inside, a neutral colour palette is brightened by cushions, lampshades and throws in various shades of aqua – it’s all about bringing the outside in here, so throw open those French windows, pour yourself a glass of something cold from the well-stocked minibar and enjoy the view.

The Food + Drink

Set on a terrace overlooking the sea, The View is 7Pines’ ultra-luxe offering, serving dishes like tuna otoro with osetra caviar, and langoustine with bone marrow all prepared under the keen eye of Head Chef, Andrés Fernández. Already recognised by the Michelin Guide (Spain 2023), they’re gunning for a star – watch this space.

Elswhere, Cone Club is Ibiza all over – bohemian decor, Mediterranean small plates, gorgeous views – and the place to tuck into a mammoth breakfast buffet, with eggs to order à la carte. And don’t miss the food at Pershing Yacht Terrace, where a Japanese izakaya-style menu is complemented by dangerously good cocktails. Otherwise, order poolside at the Infinity or Laguna bars, while room service is also available.

The Little Extras

As well as the impressive gym, there’s a dedicated sports area for guests to play tennis, padel and football. The hotel is also able to arrange plenty of activities for outdoor enthusiasts including paddle-boarding, cliff-diving, quad biking, cycling and kayaking. A superb kids’ club will keep little ones entertained with a sandpit, games, craft area and chillout zone, as well as a designated pool for families.

Pure Seven Spa is a sanctuary of wellness inspired by Sardinia. Offering a selection of peaceful rooms and environments, enjoy a rejuvenating treatment to soothe and re-energise the body and mind, get ready for a special evening in the beauty salon or channel your inner Zen with a mindfulness session. All ingredients found here are organic, vegan and paraben-free.

The To-Do List

If you’ve got children in tow, start them early and teach them to shred waves at Bam-Bu-Ku. This family-friendly beach club has an artificial wave that caters to all ages, as well as a kids’ club and great restaurant. Wipeouts are a given – so is lots of fun.

Cala Conta, one of the most popular beaches in the south of the island, is a four-minute drive away. Sundowners here should be sipped at Sunset Ashram – a gorgeous spot to plan the night ahead over a jug of cava sangria.

Ten minutes away you’ll also find Cala Bassa, an excellent beach club offering watersports and serviced cabanas. If you’re here to party, the beats start pumping early evening, otherwise, it’s a pretty relaxed affair. Clifftop Hostal la Torre, a 25-minute cab away, should be on everyone’s hitlist too – this is understated, old-school Ibiza, offering cocktails and local plates.

It’s well worth a trip to Ibiza’s fortified old town, Dalt Villa, where winding cobbled streets lead to cosy bars, independent shops, cafés and galleries. Explore this hilltop enclave against a backdrop of the Balearic Sea.

If you’re exploring the southeast side of the island, put Experimental Beach on your list. You’ll know the Experimental Group from their various ventures around Europe – and they always nail the brief. Book a day bed, order some cocktails and tuna tataki and kick back.

If you’re looking to party, it goes without saying you’re not short of options. (formerly Space) is a firm favourite, while plenty of aficionados will tell you that Pacha is where it’s at.
